Crucible Services LLC is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business based in Fredericksburg, Virginia. We manage federal contracts and project delivery — including schedules, subcontractor performance, compliance, government interface, invoicing, and closeout.
What We Do
Crucible serves as the prime contractor and contract manager. We administer the contract, control the schedule, select and manage subcontractors, coordinate government requirements, track performance and documentation, manage invoicing, and carry the work through acceptance and closeout.
Construction & Facilities
For construction, HVAC, and facilities requirements, Crucible manages the prime contract, schedule, trade subcontractors, quality and safety processes, submittals and RFIs, access coordination, payment applications, and closeout. Specialized installation work is performed by licensed trade subcontractors under Crucible’s management and accountability.
Company & Leadership
Crucible, Inc. was incorporated in 1999. The business was held by two publicly traded parent companies for much of the decade that followed, returning to private ownership in 2009 and operating as Team Crucible LLC. Crucible Services LLC was established in April 2025, carrying forward the same leadership, key personnel, operating processes, facility, and equipment. Ownership has changed several times. The organization has not, and delivery to United States Government customers has never been interrupted.
John Garman, President
John Garman first performed under contract to this organization in 1999 and joined as staff in 2003. He has been with it through every change in ownership since. He brings more than 23 years of government contracting and operations experience supporting federal clients, has managed multimillion-dollar contracts and task orders, and has led complex domestic and international operations. His experience includes program management, contract administration, business operations, personnel leadership, curriculum development, and client relationship management. He applies that experience as co-owner and President of Crucible Services.

Tactical Training
Team Crucible is the tactical training business unit of Crucible Services, providing specialized firearms, vehicle, medical, and mission-focused training to government, military, and law enforcement clients.
